A full rebrand for my family restaurant, Bamboo Restaurant. My parents are a first generation Chinese family from Hong kong and our restaurant was situated in South-London, where it had been in business since 1960.

As many of the first generation Chinese restaurants are becoming fewer and fewer, my family wanted to the rebrand to modernise the existing brand identity without losing the overall visual aesthetic that made the restaurant recognisable to the local community and it's customers. A project close to my heart. I’ll never forget the power and taste of family wok hei or the comforting sounds of that 90’s cantopop playlist.

My family, our food, culture and hospitality have been a huge part of my journey. I hope I my work can bring as much integrity and joy as my family’s cooking and brought to so many.
