A commissioned illustration for a kebabrie and taproom ‘Salt & Barrel’. The original concept of this brief was to depict the origin of the kebab into three separate images, namely ‘the hunt’, ‘the feast’ and ‘the celebration’. 

The original kebab was very basic in comparison to today’s version, - created by soldiers who would roast meats on their swords over a fire.
