The brief was simple; ‘Keep it fun, keep it trashy. Let’s make people talk!’ The owners of the restaurant group ZS Hospitality wanted to offer the best of Mexican and American food together. The result was MEXUS. The artwork resulted from several conversations and back-&-forth's with the chefs to deliver what they wanted; a fusion of Mexican and American styles in a variety of different styles. Given the restaurant was a mashup of cultures, we felt the artwork should be too. This included the now infamous ‘Ronald Trumpino’.
